Kyoto Kaguraoka Rengetsuso was built with the aim of being a top-class guesthouse and recreational facility that enhances corporate value while maintaining the tradition and style of Kyoto.
The lighting plan was to expand the space with light, and proposed a grid of light using light guide plate lighting in each room. The function of the lattice window, which has been used to divide the space while passing natural light, has been realized by illuminating the space as a soft partition with 'cotton' made of artificial light.
