Shinhan Media Art, presents a new exhibition at the Seoul Botanical Garden open.

On November 21st, the Seoul Botanical Gardens held a media art exhibition'Lee Nam Lee, Encounter of Light' at the Magok Cultural Center. It was revealed that the exhibition had begun. The opening ceremony was held on November 21 at 4pm at Magok Cultural

Center, Seoul Botanical Garden and Korean art.

It was held with more than 100 people from the exhibition field. The exhibition will be held until April 19 next year. In this special exhibition, a total of five media art works are on display. Especially, while living in Yangcheon Hyeonryeong (1740~1745).

The new work,'Light to be born again' reinterprets'Yangcheon Arm Hinge' by Gyeomjae

Jeongseon, who left Seunggyeong in the Gangseo area as a masterpiece, Yangcheon' for the first time.

In addition, Gyeomjae Jeongseon's 'Parkyeon Falls' and'Inwangje Saekdo', as well as'Gyeom', a combination of Eastern and Western painting masterpieces. Jae-seon meets Gogh' and 'I want to go there' are also on display.

Lee-Nam Lee, the artist, interprets the space called'Magok Cultural Center', which seems

to be prepared for this exhibition,

"I focused on melting it harmoniously." Although the exhibition was unraveled in

connection with the local history where traces of re-selection remain, the significance of

this exhibition, The beauty is great.

Lee-Nam, the artist who creates modern values ??by grafting digital to classics,

France, Belgium, Luxembourg, including'Tate Modern' and'The Island of the Roots'

He is a representative Korean media artist with exhibition experience in major art

museums, biennales, etc.

The 'Magok Cultural Center' where the exhibition is held is a building used as a drainage pumping station for the Yangcheon Repair Association in the past, and is a registered

cultural property.

It is designated as No. 363. Completed in 1928, it is the only building of a drainage pumping station to be preserved. He is operating as an exhibition hall showing agricultural

history and art works of the Magok region.

The first floor is a special exhibition, donated by Park Jun-beom in May of this year, “Drainage pumping station of Yangcheon Repair Association.
