In the past, electronic signs were evaluated as the most effective advertising and publicity means. But now that perception is also changing. The biggest change factor is the

expansion of the spread of led signage.
 
In this regard, LG Electronics launched a new “LG LED Signage” (model name : LSAA),

which greatly enhances not only high definition but also installation convenience, in the

global market on June 22nd 2020.
 
The new LG LED Signage is a 600mm wide, 337.5mm long, and 44.9mm thick LED cabinet (basic unit of LED signage embedded with LED elements), which can be easily attached

like a Lego block. Can be installed according to the space.

◆ Product that can be Easily assembled like a Lego Block
 
LG Electronics developed an innovative LED signage this time considering the fact that the existing LED signage has to connect cables for signal transmission/reception and power

supply between LED cabinets, respectively, making installation cumbersome and

time-consuming and expensive.
 
The new LG LED Signage is a next-generation signage that can be installed in a desired

size simply by connecting cables between LED cabinets without connecting cables. After

installing the LED cabinet according to the desired size, connecting the signal

transmission/reception and power supply cables to only the bottom LED cabinet, you can

implement a 4K resolution screen with a maximum 16 : 9 ratio.
 
This product is the first in the world to apply contactless connector technology to LED

signage to smoothly exchange signals between adjacent LED cabinets. In addition, power

is supplied by a docking method that binds pin terminals attached to the contact

surface of the LED cabinet to each other. There is no cable connection work to configure a large screen, so installation is convenient and time and cost can be saved.

◆ The world's first Non-Contact Connector Technology applied to LED Signage
 
If you purchase a standardized size such as 108 type, which is in high demand from

customers, you can install it more conveniently and neatly by using the wall-mounted and frame-type exclusive accessories provided as standard.
 
The new LG LED signage is a self-luminous display. The distance between pixels and pixels is 1.2mm, and more pixels are densely mounted in the same area to show clear image

quality.

It is also planning to introduce a product with a 0.9mm gap between pixels. In addition, it is equipped with an artificial intelligence processor incorporating LG TV's image quality

technology, which analyzes the original content by itself and determines the optimal i

mage quality.
 
This signage supplies only the necessary voltage to each sub-pixel of R/G/B (Red/Green/

Blue), and automatically switches to standby mode when there is no video signal, resulting in high energy consumption efficiency.
 
“We will set a new standard in the global LED signage market with the “LSAA Series” of LG LED Signage, which has greatly enhanced the convenience of installation in high quality,”

said Ki-Moon Baek, executive director of LG Electronics' BS Business Division's ID Business Division.
