The restaurant is a commercial space that is most closely related to our daily life. Among

them, Korean restaurant can be said to be a commercial space familiar to Koreans.

A Korean restaurant refers to a restaurant that sells traditional Korean food. According to data released by the Korean Food Promotion Agency in 2017, as of 2017, the number of

Korean restaurants operating business in Korea is 31,692, accounting for 62.5% of the total restaurant. The number of workers is about 910,000.

However, the Korean restaurant in Korea has been in crisis since January 21, 2020, when “Corona 19” occurred. This is because the number of visitors to restaurants is rapidly

decresing.

Then, is there any way for Korean restaurants to survive in crisis? It is simply reborn as a

high-end food culture space where you can enjoy Korean food in a restaurant than where you only have one meal.

Above all, the level of Korean restaurants must be high to upgrade. In addition to food, it is necessary to improve the environment of the restaurant and the level of service provide by the restaurant.

The first step toward upgrading the Korean restaurant will also be a way to improve the

Korean restaurant's space to a high level.

 

◆ The first challenge : Te upgrade of Achitecture

Korean restaurant buildings operating in Korea can be divided into three types : Western-

style buildings, traditional Korean houses and small stores.

However, regardless of the architectural style of the Korean restaurant, the part that need to be upgraded is to make the exterior of the building beautiful, and it is thought to

increase the level so that the interior is clean and tasteful.

brightness of the materials you will use to finish the interior. In addition, it is essential to

create visually beautiful results through opposition, harmony, and balance between colors.

chromatic gray tones, and the floors were finished with light-colored wood. The colors of

these finishing materials harmonize with each other, providing stability and appropriate

restaurants.

Decorative lighting is a lighting to create a visual point in the room to catch the eye and

size, but is easily visible.
